START AND FINISH WELL

"People want to end well, they just don't want to do what's right. If you want to end well, start doing what's right now."

ree

Over time I lost count of the times I heard...

"Pastor, I want things to work out! I want everything to be okay..."

With the exception of any exceptional situation, most of the time things would be resolved with the decision to immediately start doing what is right.

The apostle Paul ended well, because he fought the good fight. He did right, he didn't do what would cost nothing.

It didn't cost him everything either, because he gained Eternity with Christ. What will cost the soul is doing what does not please God.

Combat cannot be transferred to another.

It's quite common to deal with people who want to throw the desert they chose on the shoulders of others. Life doesn't work out in that format.

As the author of the book "The good part", Juracy Bahia states:

"There are favors that are didactically harmful"

Starting to do what is right is in your hands, it will not be easier to find an excuse to explain the reason for doing the wrong things to God, even because he does not exist. It is necessary to start now, from this point, this moment! David fled combat, stayed in the comfort of the Palace and fell into sin.

Don't start well and stop, complete things. Don't procrastinate... go all the way with God!

Thank God for the fight, that's what will keep you focused on winning.

Do what's right, do what the Bible says, and enjoy now and in eternity the benefits of ending well... keep your faith, protect it, don't let anyone steal it. Faith in God is the fuel to get well to the end!

"I fought the good fight, I finished my career, I kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4.7

“The end of a thing is worth more than its beginning.” Ecclesiastes 7.8a
